who is Tim Perez...?
Tim Perez, has been dancing for over 25 years, but begun his dance career at the age of 11, with the dance team 'Young Country'. After dancing for one year he placed 3rd at his first dance competition. This was only the beginning as Tim began training in many different styles such as: Country, Ballroom, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Tap under the top dancers in their profession. Because of Tim's training this led him to multiple dace awards in couples, line and choreography, and he is also a 2 time Feather Award Winner. With this Tim is recognized as one of the top dancers in his field.
Tim is a current UCWDC (United Country Western Dance Council) competitor and judge. Tim is also the 2015 UCWDC Advance Crystal Line Dance World Champion and a the 2015 WCLDSF Silver Medalist for the World Games. Over the Past 25 years Tim has coached students to multiple titles and championships. Tim is always looking for ways to spread his love for dance whether it is in a workshop, private lessons or just having fun on the dance floor in a social dance setting.
Tim has become a respected teacher in the Country Dance world, as he is often invited to different UCWDC events around the country to teach workshop and compete. He has worked with many different types of students of all ages and has the patience and respect to help them understand the different techniques of dance.

WHO IS STEVEN BENNETT...?
Steven's first event with the UCWDC was in 2009 at the Arizona Dance Classic(AZDC). He volunteered to watch the doors of the workshop rooms and the main entrance of the ballroom. It was there he got his fist look at the UCWDC. The following year at the AZDC he took on the roll of Assistant Ballroom Coordinator and was helping run the ballroom while still helping security with volunteers and doors. After 2011 Steven became the Ballroom Coordinator for the AZDC and has been for the last 4 years. Since working the AZDC as the Ballroom Coordinator he has added San Diego Dance Festival and Paradise Country and Swing Dance Festival as well.
Steven travels the UCWDC circuit working with Bob Bahrs Dance Floor and Video company setting up dance floor and video sales at an average of 10 events a year, including the UCWDC World Championships. It was there at Worlds in 2010 where Steven set out a goal to learn the position as Scrutineer within the origination. In the 2014 season Steven set out to make goal his goal a reality, and by 2015 he was hired to work serval events as a Scruitneer, such as the South Bay Dance Fling, the Dallas Dance Festival, and the Arizona Dance Classic. At some Events pulling double duty and both Ballroom Coordinating and Scruitneering.
Even though Steven does not compete or dance, he does help Tim with certain projects. At the 2015 UCWDC Wold Championships their original choreography for Beginner Line Dance, "Stomp," took 2nd place.
Steven also sits of the board of directors for his car club, Mopar eNVy, as the treasurer for the group. The group puts on 2 car shows a year where Steven plays an active roll in planning and setting up the events. He is also proficient in setting up and running silent auctions for his current position at his full-time job with a local non-profit in Boulder City, NV.
